PALZ PRODUCTION
Devon Denton, owner of Palz Production is a well known producer & distributor for reggae music in Jamaica.
He's been working on studio productions since the 80's up to now with leading Jamaican singers like General Degree, Anthony B, Elephant Man, Dennis Brown, Buju Banton, Georg Nox and musicians /producers like Danny Axmen, Bongo Herman from The Mighty Diamonds, Doc Marshall or Sly & Robbie.
Dubblestandart's HEAVY HEAVY MONSTER DUB and PRE EMPTIVE DUB has been produced by Devon D and Sly & Robbie in Jamaica and finished by the band in Vienna/Austria. Dubblestandart's PLAYERHATER'S DUB was fully produced by Devon D & Doc Marshall and also voiced by Mr. Denton himself.
This tune has been released on 12" and 7" back in 2002 and had well air play on several radio stations all around.
The Play BROTHER DESMOND produced by Devon Denton had been a major success all around the island and was one of the most popular plays in Jamaica since years.
Palz Production also owns one of the leading video productions in Jamaica, responsible for some of the hottest live video recordings of dancehall and reggae shows taking place on the island.Western Consciousness or Sting only to name a view. All productions are available on DVD.
Devon D is currently finishing a new production with international known artist Ken Booth, called KEN BOOTH & FRIENDS. The package will include a CD with brand new songs from Ken Booth feat. Cedric Myrthon (The Congos),Anthony B and many others. Beside that a DVD will be included, presenting video footage of Ken Booth's early works, interviews & background stories, showing a real to real impression of the Jamaican music scene.
